Chronology of cameras Kodak

The Type 015 has, compared to the Type 013, the great advantage of offering a cocking lever instead of a knob. Launched in 1951, it was during this year sold with a Kodak Ektar 50 mm lens with a 3.5 aperture. The shutter was then a Compur-Rapid. During the same year, the shutter was changed for a Synchro-Compur. This shutter will continue on this model, until its production stop in 1954.

After 1951, the lens became a Schneider Xenar opening to 3.5 or 2.8 depending on the choice ... and the client's finances.

It is interesting to note that the Type 013 and 015 were together in the catalog until 1954. The Type 013 allowed to propose a cheaper camera.
